The mission of the library program and the teacher-librarian is to teach information literacy skills, nurture the love of reading, prepare students to meet state standards, and partner with the 21st century school community to foster lifelong learning and global citizenship.
The Centennial Elementary School Library has over 16,000 books and resources to support the curriculum and provide for the educational and personal reading needs of our students. Students come to the library weekly with their classes and may use the library as needed throughout the day.
Carol Wintercorn, Librarian, and Lisa Sorrell, Library Assistant, welcome students, teachers and parents to use the library.
